Ephesus Library Of Celsus Ruins

In the ancient heart of Ephesus, modern-day Turkey, the imposing ruins of the Library of Celsus stand as a testament to the intellectual fervor of the Roman Empire. Built around 117 AD, this architectural marvel was commissioned by the Roman Senator Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus, whose impressive tomb occupies the space beneath the library itself.
