Egyptian Faience Amulet Molds

In the heart of ancient Egypt, where the Nile nourished life and the sun kissed the golden sands, a remarkable craft flourished: the creation of faience amulets. Dating back to around 4000 BCE, these brightly colored artifacts were made from a distinctive ceramic material that shimmered with a glass-like sheen, capturing the imagination of the living and the dead alike.

Archaeologists have uncovered countless faience amulet molds from the Valley of the Kings, specifically in the tombs of pharaohs and noblemen, where they served both protective and decorative purposes.
